🀄 MAHJONG BINGO · SEASON 1 RECAP

🥂 SESSION 1 · THE BUBBLES WERE RISING

The results were in from Tuesday Tiles and the Queens of Tiles! Radhika grabbed 1st place with 10,600 points—the rarest cuvée at the table, earning every last point.

Shweta was tantalisingly close in 2nd place with 10,400 points, while Jiab claimed a close 3rd with 9,700 points.

One session was down… and there were plenty more bubbles ready to rise! 🥂

👑 SESSION 2 · THE CROWN WAS STILL UP FOR GRABS

The rankings came in, and Radhika was still holding the crown with 16,700 points.

But Hazel came galloping up from 4th place to 2nd with 15,900 points—just 800 points behind the leader!

Meanwhile, Shweta slipped to 3rd place with 14,700 points, but remained dangerously close to snatching the crown.

The race was tightening… and with plenty of Bingo still to play, the crown was very much up for grabs!

🎉 SESSION 3 · A NEW QUEEN WAS CROWNED

A new name rose to the top—and there was a coronation!

Anu scored Bingo, winning a spectacular 25,000 points in one hand! That catapulted her to 32,400 points and straight onto the throne.

Hazel held her ground in 2nd place with 26,300 points, while Radhika slipped to 3rd with 24,700 points, dethroned but not defeated. The race for the crown continued!

A huge shoutout also went to Anjolie, Asha, Jasmine and Tina R. They were newcomers to Mahjong, but they were learning fast—and Mahjong Bingo was fuelling their rise.

The old guard had officially been put on notice. The next generation was coming for the crown.

🔥 SESSION 4 · THE GAPS WERE CLOSING

The top three were holding tight.

Anu was still doing the heavy lifting at the top with 32,400 points. Hazel was close behind with 29,800, while Radhika, the former queen, was striding forward again with 28,300 points.

Just one Bingo from any one of them and the leaderboard could have been turned completely upside down forever!

🎭 SESSION 5 · SHAKESPEAREAN DRAMA

This session was full of Shakespearean drama. The reigning monarch, Anu, was missing the action this week—and the next in line wasted not a single tile or moment!

Hazel, ever watchful, seized the throne with 40,700 points, sitting a commanding 8,300 points clear at the top.

The dethroned Anu remained in 2nd with 32,400 points, while Radhika retained 3rd with 28,300 points. Jiab, in 4th place, went away for the summer and allowed Hitomi to take her place.

History should have taught Anu that a crown left unguarded was a crown begging to be taken. Would the deposed queen return to reclaim what was hers? Or had Hazel begun her own royal reign?

🐉 SESSION 6 · THE RAVENS BROUGHT WORD OF UPHEAVAL

The ravens brought word of upheaval in this Game of Tiles! Hazel continued to hold the Throne of Tiles with 45,300 points, but her last Bingo was behind her. She could score no more and had to watch the circling dragons from American shores...

That opened the door for Shradha, who stormed Session 6 across two locations with 12,800 points, stealing 2nd place from Anu and moving to within 8,000 points of the crown.

Anu returned with 4,300 points—enough to hold 3rd place with 36,700 points, but not enough to reclaim the throne.

And then came Ajitha from the shadows, scoring a spectacular 13,800 points across two Session 6 locations! With 34,200 points, she climbed into 4th place.

The leaderboard was tightening. The dragons were circling. And one Bingo could turn the kingdom upside down.

🍸 SESSION 7 · NO LICENCE TO CHILL

Shradha had done it! 🎉

For the very first time, she took 1st place with 48,100 points, storming to the top and seizing the Throne of Tiles straight from under Hazel. Hazel tumbled to No. 3, dethroned, missing the action.

But there was another story unfolding behind the scenes…

Field intelligence had flagged a possible pact between 001 and 002. Shradha and Ajitha appeared to be moving in tandem, clearing the way as they climbed through the ranks, playing at two locations every week.

Whether Ajitha had shown Shradha the way or simply had the same target in sight remained under review. One thing was certain: the top of the leaderboard suddenly had room for only two—and they were moving together.

Radhika, Anu and Hazel discovered that reaching the top didn’t mean they had the LICENCE TO CHILL. 🍸

And everyone was asking: Would Anu return, guns blazing, for A FEW BINGOS MORE?

S8 and S9 awaited…

🔥 SESSION 8 · THE PLAYERS WERE ON FIRE

The season was heating up—and the leaderboard was getting hotter by the minute!

Shradha walked in, dropped a spectacular 21,800, and walked out. That took her to 69,900 cumulative points, giving her a 5,400-point lead at the top with just one session remaining.

Ajitha kept the pressure on with 17,500 points, staying firmly in contention. She had now spent four sessions near the top, and if anyone could chase Shradha down, it was her—but she needed a Bingo, and she needed it fast!

Anu’s dragon was stirring again at 46,900 points. One big hand could have changed everything.

Susheela was breathing down her neck at 44,700 points, appearing from nowhere, obviously picking up tips from the Top 2. The middle of the pack had turned the competition into a furnace.

The heat was well and truly on for the Oscars, with the battle for the podium red hot and plenty of players ready to spring a surprise.

S9 was all that remained… and the hottest player would take the crown! 🔥

🏆 SESSION 9 · AND THE OSCAR WENT TO…

👑 SHRADHA — 86,900 POINTS!

She finished Season 1 with the highest score of the season.

She hadn’t been there at the start, but she was there at the end—and that was all that mattered!

🥈 AJITHA had appeared in S4, taught the champion a few tricks and came remarkably close to catching her with 82,000 points..

A standing ovation! 👏

🥉 SUSHEELA was the Silent Assassin.

Nobody had talked about Susheela. Nobody had feared Susheela. And yet, there she was—on the podium with 55,200 points.

🌟 THE NIGHT’S MOST SPECIAL HONOUR

ANU — THE BINGO QUEEN! 👑🎉

One brilliant hand had changed everything.

Anu had been the only player in the entire season to score a Bingo, taking a spectacular 25,000 points in a single hand.

Hers alone. Forever…well, until someone scores one in Season 2!
